I wonder if someone can tell me what the big construction is there near the News Miner building? I understand that currently there are sewer and perhaps water lines currently being buried but there was to be a major road project to follow. What kind of road project and does it lead to something else? I love viewing all web cams there in Fairbanks. Things are certainly changing since I was there in 2007.

Thanks so much for the update on the Visitor Information Center. I was last there in 2007 when it was next to Golden Heart Plaza.
